Valuable late bloomer, usually one of the last sunflower to bloom. Attracts Monarchs, butterflies, skippers and moths, small songbirds feed on seeds, including Goldfinches.
Large 2-2.5" wide golden flowers, very narrow and shiny leaves. Spreads wide, so it needs room! Best in bigger rain gardens, moist places and naturalistic plantings such as Monarch and pollinator gardens.
